UNESCO journal spotlights link between literacy and health

This year's celebration of International Literacy Day revolves around the notion that "Literacy is the best remedy" for health-related concerns. With that in mind, the latest issue of The UNESCO Courier focuses on literacy and health. The issue includes features on the winners of the UNESCO Literacy Prizes, including the winner and honorable mention programs for the International Reading Association Literacy Prize.
