Texas accountability system leads to lower graduation rates

NCLB Icon A study by Rice University and the University of Texas at Austin shows that the public school accountability system in Texas, the model for the national No Child Left Behind Act, directly contributes to lower graduation rates, according to an article in the Austin Business Journal.
