New report examines online learning

As of September 2007, 42 states have significant supplemental or full-time online learning programs (or both), according to Keeping Pace with K-12 Online Learning, a new report from the North American Council for Online Learning (NACOL). The increase in online learning has made new courses available to students and has provided rural districts with access to resources not formerly available.
