Its being called an unprecedented initiative in solving Buffalos dire reading problem. The vision of Read to Succeed Buffalo is 100 percent literacy for the citys children and adults. The campaign, to be launched early next month, is viewed as the citys first strategic literacy plan. Behind it is a literacy coalition made up of more than 40 local organizations.
