Seeking English-Literacy Technical Advisor

The Academy for Educational Development (AED) is recruiting for an English Literacy Technical Advisor for an upcoming three-year program in Northern Nigeria (Sokoto State). The Advisor would be responsible for building capacity of the in-service teacher education system for primary schools (both government and Koranic) to better support teachers to teach English literacy in three states in Northern Nigeria. Essential: experience in working on similar programs in Africa. Preferred: doctorate (or master’s with experience); experience with USAID or similar donor-funded projects.
