Ed. dept. releases final rules on tests for special education students

NCLB Icon The U.S. Department of Education has released final regulations to guide the creation of tests for students in special education who are capable of learning grade-level content, but not as quickly as their peers. The tests may allow some schools to make adequate yearly progress under the No Child Left Behind Act when they had not before. Read more of this article from Education Week.
