Statewide teaching strategy unveiled

For the first time, Rhode Island has a statewide curriculum in reading, writing and math—a consistent, uniform learning plan for students in kindergarten through the 12th grade. Rhode Island’s governor and state education officials unveiled the Web-based guide at Woonsocket High School, calling it the missing piece in Rhode Island’s education puzzle.
