To get boys to read, yuck works wonders

The ickier the better. The bloodier, funnier, scarier and more action-packed, the better. That’s a motto that Judi Kubicki, a teacher at Boulan Park Middle School in Troy, Michigan, is sticking by when it comes to engaging her sixth-grade boys in reading.
