Offerings of online libraries grow

The array of offerings for online book buffs continues to grow, according to an article on Physorg.com, with hosts such as Google and the Open Content Alliance heading a growing list of online libraries. The Open Content Alliance offers some 35,000 scanned books, and Google offers full text for many classic public domain works, such as Dante's Inferno, as well as summaries or snippets of books still under copyright protection. Other groups and websites are involved in similar projects. For further information, read the full article.
