Education: The path out of poverty
UNESCO is calling for nominations for five International Literacy prizes of $20,000 each. This year’s theme is “Literacy and Sustainable Development.” One of the awards, the UNESCO International Reading Association Literacy Prize, has been sponsored by IRA since 1979. Find more information at UNESCO’s Education for All website and in the awards area of the IRA website.
