Florida third-grade reading scores rise

Struggling schools in Miami-Dade County showed dramatic improvement on the state’s third-grade reading test scores, released Monday. Scores on the Florida Comprehensive Achievement Test (FCAT) improved at least a little in every county, giving teachers, administrators, and government officials reason to celebrate.
