Stanford targets gifted high school students

At a time when much of the educational focus in the United States involves making sure that no child is "left behind," Stanford University is using the power of online learning to reach another often overlooked group of students: the academically gifted. Starting this fall, a first-of-its-kind online school aims to better prepare gifted and talented high school students for the challenges of elite universities, according to an article by Corey Murray in eSchool News.
