Beverly Cleary birthday bash

In honor of children's book author Beverly Cleary's 90th birthday on April 12, HarperCollins, the Association for Library Service to Children, the National Education Association, and the National PTA are teaming to sponsor a Drop Everything and Read (D.E.A.R.) celebration. The goal is to get people to drop other activities and read for 30 minutes. Cleary's most famous character, Ramona Quimby, is the spokesperson for the event. For further information, visit the D.E.A.R. website.
