Literacy Research Award winners announced by UNESCO

Two researchers whose works focus on adult literacy for sustainable development have won the 2004–2006 UNESCO Institute for Education (UIE) Literacy Research Award. The efforts of Sofia Valdivielso Gómez, of Spain, and Harbans S. Bhola, of the United States, were recognized on October 25, 2005, during the International Adult Learners Week celebrations in Oslo, Norway.
