Opening the door to online submission

IRA Icon IRA announces the launch of the Reading Teacher and Journal of Adolescent & Adult Literacy sites that are part of its new online submission portal, Manuscript Central. This new service will allow authors, reviewers, and editors to interact more efficiently and conveniently, and will get their work into readers' hands more quickly.

The portal is comprised of five sites, each representing an IRA publication (The Reading Teacher, Journal of Adolescent & Adult Literacy, ReadWriteThink, Reading Research Quarterly, and IRA Books). The Reading Teacher and Journal of Adolescent & Adult Literacy sites launched this week and are accepting submissions. The other three sites, ReadWriteThink, Reading Research Quarterly, and IRA Books are under construction, and scheduled to be completed in the next few months. We invite RT and JAAL authors to go to the portal, http://mc.manuscriptcentral.com/ira, create an account, and submit a manuscript. Authors will be able to submit and track all of their IRA submissions in one web location. Convenience and accessibility are the advantages this portal provides authors, reviewers, and editors. We encourage you to check out the sites and take full advantage of this new portal.
