Report faults Bush initiative on education

NCLB Icon After a 10-month study on the effectiveness of President Bush’s No Child Left Behind policy, the National Conference of State Legislatures has issued a highly critical report, charging NCLB with excessive “intrusion in the day-to-day operations of public education.”
