Striving Readers, IDEA top US education agenda

 Among the top items on the education agenda for the U.S. Congress this term are the Striving Readers initiative, which seeks to boost middle and high school literacy, and the Individuals With Disabilities Education Act (IDEA), which is undergoing extensive revision.
